Based on three metrics—sale-to-list price ratio, the prevalence of price cuts on home listings, and time-on-market—the market temperature provides information on the current balance of bargaining power between buyers and sellers in this zip code relative to other zip codes in the same metropolitan area. A particular zip code may be identified as a good market for buyers in a metro market favorable to sellers overall.

We’re thrilled that Hôpital Universitaire de Mirebalais, in Mirebalais, Haiti, is open. The 205,000-square foot, 300-bed facility—called University Hospital for short—is filling a huge void, locally and nationally, for people who previously had limited access to quality health care.
This hospital is the culmination of a dream dating back a quarter-century and underlines our commitment to the country and people of Haiti, which is stronger than ever after the earthquake.—Paul Farmer
Co-founder, Partners In Health
The hospital provides primary care services to about 185,000 people in Mirebalais and two nearby communities. But patients from a much wider area—all of central Haiti and areas in and around Port-au-Prince—can also receive secondary and tertiary care. We see as many as 700 patients every day in our ambulatory clinics. Learn more here.
And at a time when Haiti desperately needs skilled professionals, University Hospital provides high-quality education for the next generation of Haitian nurses, medical students, and resident physicians.
Thanks to incredibly generous supporters, we have raised funds to design, build, and outfit the hospital and residences, and we will continue to rely on our friends and supporters who believe we can—and should—provide health care to people everywhere, and especially to people living on the margin of extreme poverty.

After poor turkey hatches from 2007-2010 a good hatch in 2011 and an increased population of jakes in 2012, hunters will see more "ready willing and able" gobblers this spring. In addition 2012 was a great hatch and according to MDC it was 42% above the previous 5 year average and 21% above the 10 year average. Things are looking up!

Land price appreciation
Proximity to well known hunting areas - Being close to proven deer populations will give you something to work with. If there's nothing to draw in then all...Continue Reading!

Farms selling like hot cakes…..why?
Land is selling like hot cakes.......why?
Escalating crop prices have led to increased demand for farm land but why the increases? The answer seems to lie in other parts of the world like China and India. Those countries suddenly have an emerging middle class that can afford to a better diet including meat. Higher demand for meet means higher demand for the grain to feed cattle, pigs and chickens.
Will that demand continue to grow?
Currently the average American consumes about 250 pounds of...Continue Reading!
